FAQs

What is your method for removing rot and repairing windows?

For minor rot, where rot is just beginning in joins, the area is treated to kill all wood rot spores with a timber preservative solution, then treated again with a stabilising solution. For more advanced and serious rot e.g. large areas in sills, frames and sashes, the rotten component is cut out, the area is treated and rebuilt with new fully primed timber.
